The best thing to do would’ve been to bring a gram scale. Count one billfold and weigh that billfold. Should come out to roughly 1 gram per bill (given that the bill is legal tender). Account for that weight and ensure all billfolds are the same weight until it adds up to the given sum (100k in this case). Given that you are working with a quality scale it should be pretty easy to identify and discrepancies with the bills. To ensure they aren’t mixed with various bills just a quick fan through should suffice. Typically exchanges of this caliber are done in uniform bill values for that exact reason. This method should also account for the possibility of counterfeit tender. It might also be a good idea to have a small black light on hand. 20’s will illuminate in green thread under ultraviolet and black light. Couldn’t be more than 20 minutes to verify the whole case like this. 1. Count initial billfold 2. Weigh that initial fold 3. Fan all billfolds twice (once for uniform denominations, second under black light for green thread) 4. Weigh billfolds to ensure consistent value 5. Given that the consistency is present, multiply the number of folds by the value of the initial one (include the initial) That should do it. . . . . Addressing problems I noticed in this video: currency straps are only intended for note counts of 100. So if the notes are in $20 denominations that would mean each fold is worth 2k. There is nowhere near 100k unless there are 50 folds there, which it looks short to me.
